Overseas Network, October 27, Dan egeller, a 59-year-old cancer survivor from Michigan, ran 4 marathons in 24 hours last weekend, I think two non-profit organizations focusing on rescuing dogs raise donations.
According to ABC, Egler’s initial goal was to raise 50,000 dollars for local non-profit organizations Bark Nation and Waggin Tails Dog Rescue, but when he crossed the marathon finish line in 23 hours and 44 minutes, he had already raised 133,000 dollars.
Egler said that due to the outbreak of covid-19, traditional forms of fund-raising activities were canceled. Therefore, he decided to provide assistance to dogs through his own efforts. Both non-profit organizations expressed their gratitude for the support from aigrad.
It is reported that Bark Nation is an organization that helps and recovers dogs injured in fighting, while “Waggin” Tails Dog Rescue is an adoption agency operated by local volunteers, they usually rely on the support of community residents to maintain the operation. In addition, in order to show respect to these two non-profit organizations, aigrad also specially created a website for people to donate.
